I grew up in a rural part of Upstate New York. It's an area where the shadows, the call of distant coyotes beyond the corn, and a moon drifting between the clouds all managed to make me question what's real. What is possible?

My love for science fiction mainly stems from watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and other 90s fare (plus the classics of scifi and horror) with my mother. She showed me that acceptance was possible, that stories of the unexplained could include everyone.

The joys I found in reading left me wanting to tell stories and pass that sense of adventure on to others. The twisted stories I read may have twisted my brain a bit. So here we are.
